Good news!

Good news in a long long time at work.

1) The final 2 candidates are the two awesome people.
2) So I'll be staying at Substation.
3) EH will be doing sponsorships next year!

All these point to exceedingly good developments here. I am happy. :)
Will have to work harder next year!

Gaming Ronin Otaku

Back to the gaming machine

It's got that certain easy reachable sense of achievement.
Every time you complete a level.
Or beat the nuts off of some Nazi fucking ass
Ah, what can be better than charging a hill with toy guns and cannons,
With shouts or support from imaginary friends.

Sure beats working for something you should be working on or believing in.
You know, like Unicorns, a goal in life and people you can count on.

Man I need to get a gaming computer.

What not to dos

Not to do list:
- Contact unsupportive elements
- Work with people who have proven to be unreliable
- Assume friends will help. Period.
- Expect others to put in their best for your projects or in joint projects
- Let work take up too much space anywhere
- Do things pro-bono

Sharing

Just an opinion.

"It is a comfort in wretchedness to have companions in woe."

If there aren't any, then go create some quick!

New discoveries

The less you do, the less you have to deal with, the less responsibility you have for anything.

Simply said, silence is an option that should be exercised frequently and ignoring people has its benefits.

Stepping up for anything other than self is a folly.

New direction and burning bridges

Community is dead.
It is a dirty word.
Self interest is the way to go.
Support those who will support you.
Cut off all those who don't pledge their loyalty.
Because it is just not worth it.
Community is dead.
It is a dirty word.
And I simply will not support ingrates any longer.

Road Trip!

Haw Par Villa and beyond!

I didn't take much photos so here's just a few teasers I would say.

1st Stop:
Bollywood veges! Nothing great about that except I learnt that starfruit grows on trees and saw a coffee plant! Exciting!... ok la.

Had lunch there too, a bit price-y but it was ok. Not too bad. Interesting vegan dishes.

2nd Stop!

Science centre. Nothing much to report except... we found out that Da Vinci was a big copy cat and he isn't really all that interesting. Van Gogh Imax was bad bad bad too. All of us fell asleep in the middle of the film.

3rd Stop!

Haw Par Villa!!!!
This was the highlight of the trip man!

Shaun was expecially excited! Paid $5 to park inside too.

Inside we were greeted by.... Sumo Wrestlers! Hawking Tiger Balm. Brillant!

At $1 per entry, the Ten Courts of Hell are the best. Totally. Just skip the rest of the exhibits and go straight there. Everything exciting and funny is there. Including a poster of the tit sucking granny. After Hell of course. Heheheh
